Mary Scanlon is an Author and Speaker and has had a love for writing for most of her life. While she was in her twenties, she wrote many pieces of poetry, some of which were published. She came to know the Lord on November 18, 1999, and is currently following her dream of becoming a writer of children's books.

She is the mother of five wonderful children, five grandchildren, and lives in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. She is currently working on a sequel to the Victor E. Standings book, and hopes to continue encouraging children, youth and adults to learn all that they can about our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
